U10 Girls Tie for 1st place

Congratulations to the Girls U10 Team in yesterdays tournament at Ringgold High School. They ended up tying Norwin for first place with a record of 2-1-1.

The girls played fantastic! In our first game vs. the Ringgold Lady Rams Team 1. We walked away with a 0-0 tie. We had several close chances to put it into the net but it just wasn't in the cards. One thing for sure, our goalie didn't see much action on our end of the field, but when she did Erin was right there to stop the shots... Game two we had Karter and Riley step up with 2 big GOALS and a 3rd by Lexi against the Lady Rams Team #2. Game 3  was vs.  Norwin, they got a couple lucky shots but it was a very even game. In game 4 against the Lady Rams Team #1, I was very happy to see some really nice passing, good positioning, and I even saw several moves on the field. The defense played by all was fantastic. Overall, I couldn't have asked for the girls to play better coming off a long break.
